• Experience in creating responsive and SEO-friendly websites

• Understanding of basic WordPress security and performance best practices

• Knowledge of plugin installation, configuration, and light troubleshooting

• Familiarity with FTP, cPanel, and hosting environments

• Basic knowledge of MySQL and database structure in WordPress

• Exposure to WooCommerce setup and customization (optional)

• Ability to work on staging/live environments safely

Requirements:

• 0 to 2 years of experience in WordPress development (internship/freelance included)

• Experience with custom theme editing or child themes

• Understanding of core WordPress functions and PHP basics

• Ability to work with design-to-development handoffs (Figma, PSD to WordPress)

• Basic troubleshooting and debugging skills

• Familiarity with tools like Git, browser DevTools, and inspector

• Strong willingness to learn and explore new plugins or tools

• Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field

• A small portfolio or sample websites is a plus
